Blueberry Cottage is a stunning holiday home located on a secluded 450 acre nature reserve in the heart of the Cotswolds Water Park. It offers spectacular views over Clearwater Lake. The house sleeps up to eleven guests plus one baby in five bedrooms. The estate has tennis courts, swimming pools, spa, canoe and bike rentals and an onsite restaurant and bar called the Balihoo Club.

We had a great time in this house. The owners are very friendly, and very welcoming. The house is lovely and more than enough for 10 people and young children. The location is great for the spa and playground for the children (few minutes walking)...More

The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed, two bed-side cabinets, built in wardrobe, wall mounted TV with freeview and an en-suite bathroom consisting of a power shower, WC and Basin. Plenty of room for a travel cot.
1st Floor:

The large open plan living area has windows across the full width of the property, overlooking the lake, with sliding doors on both sides. The main room has four leather sofas (3 x 2-seater, 1 arm chair) a foot-stool and a coffee table. There is a log-burning stove.

There is a flat screen TV with Freeview, a DVD player and a music system with CD and ipod connection.
The dining area consists of a glass extendible dining table to seat 10 in comfort.

About the neighbourhood
Lower Mill is located five miles south of the historic Roman town of Cirencester, making it an excellent base for exploring the wider Cotswold area. There are many beautiful villages within a short drive.

Much of the 500 acre estate is given over to natural habitat and there are several sites of special scientific interest. Lower Mill takes its name from the historic water mill found at the entrance, one of only two still working on the river Thames, which flows through the area.

Lower Mill is within the Cotswolds Water Park holiday area with lots of water based activities from a man made beach to waterskiing, angling and sailing.

There are many picturesque local pubs and restaurants within a short drive and The Bakers Arms in Somerford Keynes (serving food all week) is within walking...

How to get there
Railway: Kemble: 5.0 km
From the M4:

Take exit 15 and follow the signs northwards to Cirencester along the A419 for approximately 15 miles.
At the Spine Road junction, turn off the A419 following the brown tourist signs to the Cotswold Water Park.
As you come up the exit slip from the dual carriageway, you come to a round-about - take the first exit, sign-posted the Cotswold Water park. This brings you onto the B4696 Spine Road.

From the M5 southbound:

Take exit 11A and head for Cirencester
At Cirencester follow the signs for Swindon and the M4 on the A417/419 for approximately 4 miles; continue on the A419 to the Spine Road junction following the brown tourist signs to the Cotswold Water Park.
