Situated in the centre of the lovely Sussex village of Barcombe the cottage consists of an open plan ground floor with sitting,dining and kitchen areas, and a separate WC. Upstairs are a double and twin bedrooms with a bath, shower, WC and handbasin.
The cottage has central heating, the kitchen has fridge, freezer, dishwasheroven and hob and a full range of kitchen appliances, there is also a washing machine in the downstairs WC.
In the sitting area there is a flat screen TV, a dvd player and free WIFI.
The village general stores and post office and the Pub/Restaurant are within 200 yards of the barn.
Barcombe is situated 4 miles from the County Town of Lewes, 12 miles from Brighton and 25 miles from Eastbourne..
There is easy access to the coast, and the South Downs Way and there are numerous Pubs and Restaurants in the area.

Comfy beds, great garden for kids to run about in, welcoming hosts and really nice little village with walks on the doorstep. Nice local pub with old fashioned skittle alley which the kids loved. Would definitely recommend

A well appointed conversion a little off the beaten track, but with Lewes and Brighton accessible. Biggest issue was wifi access, or lack of, a big drawback these days. Parking a bit tight. Handy to have a Convenience store and pub in village.

An idealic setting in the rural countryside of East Sussex. Wake to the sound of the morning chorus of birdsong and enjoy the rolling hills of the South Downs. A relaxing environment and not too remote, just a short distance from Lewes and Brighton. What more could you want!

Otherwise its about 7km north of Lewes on the A275, bear right at the Rainbow pub, then first right to Barcombe, as you come into the village there is a short steep hill we are 50 meters from the top on the right. There is a sign with Stepney Farmhouse at the entrance to the drive.
