About the neighbourhood
Boscombe is a suburb of Bournemouth. It is to the east of the borough, between the town centre and Southbourne, whilst still being a distinct seaside resort suburb within Bournemouth. The resort has a newly replenished superb Blue-Flag sandy beach, its own pier, cafes, fabulous views sweeping from the Isle of Wight across Poole Bay to the Isle of Purbeck, a shopping centre, pubs and restaurants. Why not try the 'Bistro On The Beach' (on Southbourne beach). The main area of Boscombe the Christchurch Road pedestrianised area, a long shopping street that has some unique and individual shops rather than high street chain shops, there is a large indoor shopping centre and a regular market.
