The spectacular scenery makes this an all year round destination; we offer weekly holidays (Saturday to Saturday) during high season (June to September), and a range of short breaks during low season, Saturday to Tuesday and Tuesday to Saturday. The cottage is entered from the rear of the farmhouse, via a conservatory which enjoys magnificent sea and coastline views. The conservatory leads into the well-equipped farm kitchen/diner, with electric cooker, microwave oven, toaster, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The living room has a fireplace with a wood burning stove for cosy nights in addition to electric heating. It contains a TV with a Free satellite HD receiver and DVD player for entertainment and a coffee table and comfortable suite. Haywain accommodates a maximum of 4 people in 2 comfortable heated bedrooms, 1 x double and 1 x twin with single beds. The modern tiled family bathroom, entered via a small utility room containing the washing machine/dryer, has bath with shower over, washbasin and toilet. At the rear of the farmhouse is private lawned garden with garden furniture and plenty of room to enjoy the barbecue. There is a large covered veranda with panoramic views over Trebarwith Valley and Port Isaac Bay, where you can enjoy an alfresco meal or sip a glass of wine while watching the sunset over Trebarwith Strand. Bed linen and towels provided and beds are made up for your arrival with an electric under-blanket on the double bed for cold nights. there is a full size cot with safety mattress and high chair available for small children. All electricity is included in the price. We regret we are unable to accept pets. Parking available for one car, extra cars by arrangement. We enjoyed an excellent week here; cottage is great for a couple or small family. Lovely views of the sea from the outside balcony - in clear weather. Great walks along coast and into Tintagel, and pubs/restaurants abound (though not actually in Trewarmett). Would recommend.More

The cottage is located in the small a hamlet Trewarmett at the top of Trebarwith Valley a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.It is a mile from the main village of Tintagel with its many shops, pubs and restaurants and a mile from Trebarwith Strand the local sandy surfing beach which it overlooks. It is ideal for touring the whole of Cornwall and North Devon.There are lots of country and coastal walks starting from the door (maps and directions provided). Getting around
We recommend a car to see all the beautiful places that abound in Cornwall but there is also a local bus service from right outside the cottages and there are lots of great walks in the area many starting right from your door we list many of them in our walks folder with maps and full directions, we can supply most of these in your own language.
