Ocean Loft is a sunny open plan two bedroom house situated at the top of Porthmeor hill with panoramic views over Porthmeor Beach from Mans' Head to the Island. The house is within minutes of the town centre, beaches and the Tate Gallery. There is parking for one car in a private integral garage (beneath the house). It is double glazed and has gas central heating. The lounge area is on the first floor which has magnificent sea views from a sliding window with balustrade. It is comfortably furnished with two large sofas, colour television, WiFi and DVD player.

Ocean Loft has one double bedroom with king size bed and one twin and comfortably accommodates four adults. A travel cot and highchair are available, if needed.

St Ives Cornwall ! Enough said ! Could retire here to this lovely town. Ocean Loft is cleverly thought out in its design giving spectacular views across Porthmeor beach and the town centre plus the house has it's own garage.

About the neighbourhood
Ocean Loft is superbly located above Porthmeor Beach and the Tate Gallery and has stunning, uninterrupted views across the bay from Mans' Head to the Island from one aspect and the whole of St. Ives Bay across to Hayle from the other.

St Ives - The jewel in the West Cornwall crown... loved for its superb beaches, narrow streets and flower-filled courtyards, its glittering sea and clear air and for its friendly hospitable people.

The beaches of St Ives are its crowning glories. Magnificent Porthmeor Beach on the town's western edge is famous for powerful surf, yet is ideal for non-surfers of all ages. The more sheltered Porthminster Beach on the town's eastern edge has perfect conditions for family groups.

Getting around
There is a train station and a bus station located at the Mallacoff which is at the far side of town between the harbour and Porthminster Beach.

The train line goes from St Ives to St Erth which then links with the main train line.

Buses are available to Penzance (no 16 and 17) or towards Hayle/Camborne and beyond T1 and T2

Driving Directions to Ocean Loft

On reaching St. Ives drive through into the town centre. On reaching a cross roads turn left between Natwest Bank and the Library. Continue up ‘The Stennack’ past the cinema and the Co-Op until you come to a mini roundabout.

At the mini roundabout turn right and drive up Bullans Lane (a steep hill). At the top turn right into Ventnor Terrace. Just past the shops the road bears sharply to the left turn right here and go straight across. You will see a row of houses on your right hand side (Carrack Dhu Estate). At the end of these houses is Ocean Loft (1 Carrack Dhu Estate).

Turn right and immediately right again for the garage (underneath the house).
