A friendly family home next door with gorgeous gardens and flowers. The River Dove and Wolfscote Dale is 20 minutes away on foot. Hartington is 1.5 mile away with local shops, pubs and cheese. If you want to get away from it all and retreat to the country this is the place for you. Walkers, artists and mountain bike riders most welcome. The Barn is situated directly on route 54 of the National Cycle Network and there are 3 cycle trails within 3 miles of the property. It is also very suitable for small families. This is a newly built very warm artist studio with recently installed log burning Clearview stove. The place gets very warm with just a few logs. If you would like to paint, take photos or even meditate please contact Jan. You can find us else where for more information. To find us our post code is SK17 0DJ drive through Biggin from the A515 past the Waterloo pub, round an 'S' bend until you reach a T-junction, that's Hardings Lane. Turn right and you will see a converted barn facing you, that's us. Do not go to Cotterel Farm, we share the same postcode. Please remember only Orange (EE) network works in our area. You can get other networks on the A515 - top road. Once you stay here we are confident you will want to return again and again. Strictly No Smoking. Wifi available This is a child friendly barn. We welcome children and young babies. We ask that you check in at 3pm and please check out at 11am so that my mum can clean in the day light ready for the next guests. Many thanks for this. The deposit will be refunded on departure. The paintings are £25 for the small ones and £50 for the larger ones if you want to buy them please ask at the Barn next door. Ramblers Barn is also advertised elsewhere. Thank you and enjoy your stay! We ask please for you to leave a review. Many thanks xMore

Had an amazing time staying at Rambler’s Barn. Idyllic location, beautifully converted barn and great place to go for a getaway in the Peak District. Well presented and clean, very easy to access and made to feel right at home. Would definitely recommend.
