We couldn’t believe how nice it was. How peaceful and lovely view of the babbling brook. The cabin was so pretty. Clean. Loved the fact you could use the stereo. The hot tub made this cabin a winner. Not far from everything. But far enough to be quiet. Would highly recommend this Cabin.

This cabin sits right next to the Upper Truckee river. It is wonderful to hear the rushing water through the windows or while you are sitting on the back deck. The cabin is very clean and well kept up. Upon our arrival, the lights were on, the place was clean and clean towels were displayed nicely on each bed. Everything worked well and good instructions provided in the welcome binder. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. The upstairs "master" bedroom is very roomy with it's own outside deck and fireplace. The "kids" room has several beds and a foozeball table. Two bedrooms on the street level are also nice. The bathrooms are clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The back deck has a wonderful table and chairs with an umbrella, BBQ and hot tub.
This cabin is located about 15 minutes from the lake and downtown South Lake Tahoe. It is a quiet neighborhood and a great road to walk or bike on. There is also some simple trails to hike nearby. You are only 5-7 minutes from a grocery store, gas, coffee shop and a few restaurants if you don't want to go all the way into South Lake Tahoe.
Linda is wonderful to work with and communicates well with those renting. We would stay here again. Other family members have used her place before and have also enjoyed it immensely.

Beds and bedrooms super comfortable. Upstairs primary has fireplace and view of trees and river! Hot tub is great - nice and hot and easy to use. The whole place overall great - 5 stars.

The home was as described. Very comfortable place in a beautiful setting.
We did have some issues with hot water, but the owner was very attentive and addressed this as quickly as possible.
Communication with the owner was excellent.

The place is very nice, it had everything you would need. Lots of room and perfect spot! However, I received a message from the owner during our stay letting me know that we owe money for checking in early. I had no idea or really thought about being a few hours early because we drove from the bay area and it was snowing. 59 dollars- and a message that made us feel like we were being watched. It was super uncomfortable. The final thing is the beds are absolutely horrible! 5 beds, all the mattresses are so old and hard, one of them sinks in the middle. None of us got a good night sleep! We left a day early. I'm sure we were being watch upon departing as well. The owner has a RING and watches all your moves.
