Completed in 2009, Casa Algodoal is a large open plan villa made from 100% natural and local materials of Cimbiri and Chamfuta wood. It is located right on the southern end of Tofo Beach. It retains a beautiful hidden feel despite its highly central location, and is the perfect holiday home for couples, families, and groups of friends.

It truly is a little gem of a holiday destination, with its picture perfect beaches and friendly smiling sun ripened inhabitants who live mostly off tourism and are all too happy to have you visit their beautiful home. Tofo, Inhambane and Barra area offers various activities to chose from, from the favorite swimming with whale sharks in azure blue waters to cultural tours in the UNESCO town of Inhambane. How to get there
Airport: Inhambane: 24.0 km
LAM flies into Inhambane airport (the cutest international airport on earth) daily from Johannesburg and Maputo. Book you transfer with us or catch a taxi on arrival for the 23 km ride to Tofo.
To drive from Maputo or South Africa is easy (although quite long) and the highways are in good conditions all the way. Beware of our MozPolice who loves to hide behind a 60km/h sign for speed control. Approx travel times without stopping : Xai-Xai 4h, Maputo 7h, Nelspruit 10h, Durban/Joburg 16h.
Public transportation by road is quite basic : there are small 30 people vans (called chapas) leaving from Maputo everyday to Inhambane (one leaves from Fatima's backpackers in Maputo and goes straight to Tofo), and large buses travel from Maputo to Maxixe (then take a 20mn boat to inhambane).
