A period cottage dating back to circa 1760. It is  set back from the road and located on the edge of the village of Peasmarsh, between Rye and Northiam. The cottage has been beautifully restored and combines period beams, a lovely open Inglenook fireplace, with a modern kitchen and bathroom. There is a comfortable open living/ dining room with leather sofas to sit in and enjoy the open fire. There are 2 double bedrooms upstairs each with rural views. The bathroom is downstairs, with a bath and fixed shower over it.
The large garden is enclosed so ideal for children to play or adults to relax in It has a patio eating area with a BBQ conveniently situated outside the kitchen window. Detailed directions will be given when you have booked. It is easiest to drive there. There is ample secure parking for more than 1 car. There are trains and a bus stop beside the house so some guests have used only public transport. I would recommend using a car to enjoy the variety of places of interest.

Rye is 3 miles and where there are a variety of restaurants and shops
