Ideal for activity holidays with excellent walking to suit all abilities (GR10 nearby), local para-gliding, mountaineering, fishing, hunting, cycling (6km to spectacular Tour de France Pau stage - Col de Marie Blanque. Next door to Val d'Ossau for Col d'Aubisque, and onwards to Col de Tourmalet.

35 mins from Spanish Ski resorts of Astun and Candanchu. 30 minutes from Col de Somport cross country skiing.

A great house in a brilliant location, whatever you like walking,cycling or motorcycling this is in a great area for the mountains or trips into Spain.

After a two day motorbike ride from Scotland we arrived to the peace and calm of Aisling, knowing we would get there after the shops closed we asked for a few basic provisions and were treated to the finest fresh bread, pate and cheese. Good...More

Bedous is a pretty village situated on the floor of the Vallee d'Aspe. It has 2 bars, 2 restaurants, boulangerie, small epicerie, bank, post office, pharmacy, tourist office, butchers, organic produce shop and cheese and dairy products shop. Easy access to signed walks and within a stroll of other villages in the valley.

The tourist office (English speaking) will help you organise your activities (rafting, fishing, para-gliding etc) and can provide you with daily agenda of activities in the valley and surrounding area. Large supermarket, petrol pumps and pizzeria one kilometre away in Accous village.
