Our one bedroom city pad has a lot to offer business or pleasure travellers. It has slick decor and all the comforts we could possibly think of for your home-away-from-home. There are lovely city views from the small balcony, including a good view of our beloved Table Mountain. The apartment is situated in the very trendy De Waterkant, which is within easy walking distance to the CBD, the V&A Waterfront and the Cape Town International Convention Centre. It's also really well situated for quick access in and out of the city via the N1 and N2 freeways.

The block has 24-hour security, free parking and a free gym. There is a fantastic little shopping centre (the Cape Quarter) just 2 blocks away with a gourmet supermarket and really fantastic shopping and al fresco restaurants.

Interaction with guests
I try to meet all guests in person on the day of their arrival, if possible. After check-in we leave you in peace, but are always available for questions or concerns. Our housekeeping staff are in the building most days to attend to small issues.

I also provide a comprehensive information booklet with all my personal recommendations around the area - shopping, sightseeing, dining, etc - and all the information you'll need during your stay.

About the neighbourhood
De Waterkant is a very trendy suburb, barely outside of the central business district. It's buzzy and vibey with many fantastic coffee shops, restaurants and bars. It's also an excellent shopping district (The Cape Quarter is a must-visit) and it's close to the city centre, the V&A Waterfront, the Cape Town International Convention Centre and the Cape Town Stadium. De Waterkant is also just a short drive from Table Mountain and the cable car, Clifton and Camps Bay beaches and the Sea Point promenade (ideal for walking or jogging).
Getting around
An Uber taxi from the airport will cost about R150 - it is by far the most reasonable and convenient way of getting around the city. There are numerous car hire facilities in close proximity (including a Europcar branch in the building). The apartment is also located close to the My Citi bus route. De Waterkant has really easy access to all the major freeways.

Airport: Cape Town International: 21.0 km
De Waterkant is only a 15/20 minute drive from the airport (with no traffic). If you are re not hiring a car, I would recommend taking a taxi from the airport. Cape Town taxis are very reasonable - as long as you take a metered taxi! It is perfectly safe to walk around De Waterkant during the day, but I would not recommend walking after dark anywhere in the city.
