About the neighbourhood
As you will find, much of the area is owned and managed by the National Trust, whose Enterprise Neptune campaign ensures that it remains unspoilt. Tourism is low key and individual here and you will find that on the Lizard there is still time to talk, and time to live, at any time of the year. There is no pressure to 'do things'. You can be as active or as lazy as you like. Sail from the Helford, walk, surf or windsurf, go horse riding, play golf on the superb course at Mullion, or laze and swim from any of the beautiful beaches and coves. There are so many gardens to visit that you will be spoilt for choice. Or just soak up the charm and solitude of this enchanted region. Whatever your reason of coming to the Lizard, enjoyment is inevitable. And it's a great place for the kids too!
Getting around
If you don't want to use the car, there is a bus service travelling between the Lizard Village into Helston. The bus stop is directly outside on the main road. A bus time tbale will be found inside the bungalow. Also, details of local taxis are also available.
