As seen in Monty Halls' 'series 'The Fisherman's Apprentice' on BBC2. Pebbles is a traditional fisherman's semi-detached cottage situated in the heart of the Cadgwith Cove. Sunny and south-facing, the whitewashed cottage provides very comfortable accommodation and is full of character. Pebbles has its own patio and sheltered garden with sea glimpes, which makes a lovely private suntrap and provides ample seating to enjoy alfresco meals. It is only a few yards away from the beach where you can bathe or watch the daily activities of the local fishermen, and central to all the amenities of the cove. You can enjoy freshly caught fish and crab in the Old Cellars Restaurant or in the Cadgwith Cove Inn, the local pub and social hub of the village. Additional sitting room with sofa, chairs and bookcase with a selection of books for guests, french doors lead into the garden. Dining room with open beams and feature fireplace. Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer. Bathroom with bath, WC, shower, wash basin, washing machine and unusual porthole feature. Separate WC and wash basin. First floor: Two double bedded rooms and one twin bedded room, all with views over the village. Shower room marble-tiled with shower, wash basin and WC. The cottage is warmed by night storage heaters and a wood burning stove in the sitting room.

About the neighbourhood
Cadgwith is a picturesque fishing village with whitewashed thatched cottages lining the sides of the valley and a small fleet of colourful fishing boats winched up on the shingle beach. The fact that the boats are still in use and the local pub (The Cadgwith Cove Inn) is renown for it's singing of Cornish songs of a Friday evening is testament to the traditional character of this village still being alive and well. The village also has a thriving gig club. Cadgwith featured in the film 'Ladies in Lavender' and is the base for Monty Halls' series: 'The Fisherman's Apprentice'. The cove has two beaches - the fishing beach where you can watch the daily activities of the fishermen. How to get there
If you are travelling by road from anywhere outside of Devon and heading to the west of Cornwall, the most direct route is likely to include the M5 and then the A30. The cottage is 20 minutes drive from Helston. Air travel to Newquay from Stansted, Gatwick, Leeds, Bradford, Bristol and Dublin (90 minutes drive). Travel by train to Redruth, then onwards by bus or taxi (45 minutes drive). Please contact the owner for further details.
