A lovely detached property, situated in the quiet village of Ormesby St. Margaret, close to the historic Norfolk Broads and within 2 miles of the beach. This cosy, single story building, set within the garden of the owner's residence, comprises of an open plan living room/kitchen and one bedroom. Visitors to the cottage have sole use of a small courtyard overlooking adjacent fields, as well as use of a quiet shared garden between properties. Parking for 1-2 visitor cars is available on a shared drive way. Facilities within the cottage include electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freeview TV, free WiFi and DAB radio. Amenities within walking distance include a convenience shop, chip shop/Indian/Chinese take aways, public house, village green and launderette. Our approach is to fit in with what works best for our guests. We tend to leave our guests to their own devices during their stay, so that they can make themselves feel at home but we are absolutely happy for visitors to come and have a chat/ask us questions. Cottage is compact but contains everything you could need. All exceptionally clean and welcoming. Craig welcomed us warmly and talked us through everything (i.e. the cottage utilities, local beaches and dog friendly pubs and cafe’s) Simply couldn’t ask for more.

About the neighbourhood
Ormesby St Michael is a tiny village at the furthest edge of the unique Trinity Broads. Sailing, boating and fishing are allowed on these Broads but are carefully regulated as they are areas rich in birdlife and natural beauty.
The newly refurbished Boathouse is an enchanting waterfront restaurant in Ormesby St. Michael, with beautiful views over Ormesby Little Broad.
The village has several shops and a garden centre with café, a traditional pub, an Indian restaurant. There are also some great walks which start from Ormesby St. Margaret.

We have a bus stop directly outside the property and another a few meters up on the opposite side, great for cyclists and a train station 10 mins away by car
