Overview
Cottage -
2 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 6
Bratton Clovelly, Devon, England
Great Burrow Cottage (Sunday Times '50 Coolest Cottages in Britain and Ireland') is a detached former Linhay found in the heart of undulating West Devon countryside, in the grounds of Grade II listed Great Burrow Farmhouse. It has stunning uninterrupted views of Dartmoor. French doors lead to a private patio and large tranquil gardens with wildlife ponds, free-range chickens, a beautiful cob and stone barn, ancient oak trees and sweeping views of Dartmoor's wild northern tors. The breathtaking North Cornwall coast is only 30mins away ( surfing, Bude sea-pool, miles of sandy beaches). A heat exchange system provides constant hot water with underfloor heating that keeps the cottage really cosy and a woodburner too for that added snug feel. The contemporary bathroom has a slate floor and large bath with a deluge shower above. T... Read more
