Beautiful apartment, with exquisite tiles and simple but attractive decoration. Well equipped for self catering, extremely clean and comfortable. Mesmerising view from the 3rd floor windows across the enchanting village, with whitewashed beach houses with vibrant blue paintwork coordinating with the fishing boats. It's a friendly village, with plenty of small shops, and little in the way of hustle. The apartment is brilliantly located; it's a lovely sanctuary, and base for beach activities, and exploring further in a really delightful setting. Down on the ground floor, Mohamed and his band of merry men in the office can fix anything you want (except perhaps the waves, although the sea is great for swimming whatever the swell), including car rental, a trip to the rocky ravine and bathing pools of Paradise Valley with the best tagine we had in all Morocco, locally home-cooked food to your door, surfing lessons and equipment, and any amount of local knowledge. Very warm and friendly welcome received from Mohamed and Mr Fantastic on arrival, and they sorted any problems as quickly as possible. Loved the fantastic view from the giant window out over the sea and beach, spent a few hours just people watching from there. Everything we needed in the apartment including a washing machine. Lots of lovely places to eat although as Morocco is a Muslim country no alcohol available in cafes and restaurants, so don't forget to stop in agadir on way from the airport and buy some from the large supermarkets. Lots of little shops in taghazout for fresh bread every morning. We particularly loved the local beaches and Josephine's restaurant in the centre of the village. Just be aware the infrastructure in Morocco is of a much lower standard than we find in the Uk and Europe. And so there is a lot of rubbish everywhere and pot holed roads are the norm, but the weather more than makes up for this!!!

About the neighbourhood
The tiny fishing village of Taghazout is a renowned surfing spot and you will find our property in the perfect situation. Down a quiet cul de sac and just within one minutes walk to the sandy bay or to the nearest shops in the next street along. There are masses of small restaurants to chose from and cafe bars. The plenty of small shops selling just about everything line the alleys and main street. Also there is a magnificent amount of Moroccan artisanal wares for sale which will tempt you as you explore the small streets that wind down to the sea.
