Whistler’s Marketplace Lodge is well liked for its location in the heart of the North Village and its great value. Guests will enjoy having a home base next to the Olympic Plaza at the entrance of the Whistler Village Stroll, within easy walking distance of Whistler’s many shops and restaurants. The Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas are an approximate seven minute walk away but guests can also choose to utilize the complimentary village shuttle which passes right in front of the building. Marketplace Lodge #218 is completely renovated throughout and is without a doubt one of the best suites in the entire building. Location was awesome! Steps away from liquor store, IGA, Starbucks and shops. Underground parking and WiFi were included which was bonus. The renovated kitchen and bathroom were really nicely done- stainless steel appliances, great tile floor and cabinets. Kitchen was well stocked with small appliances and dishes etc. It was the master bedroom that needed some care. No headboard, cheap pillows, and substandard linens on the bed. The matress was not great either. There was no dresser or closet in the bedroom to put your stuff or hang your clothes. Living room furniture very worn and even ripped in places. The whole place needed a paint job. Although there were the things we mentioned above that bothered us we enjoyed our stay. It was spacious in the LR/kitchen area although a huge chair blocked the fireplace.
