Mountainstar is a selection of Luxury townhomes set in an idyllic slopeside location. This particular 3 bedroom end Town home is in an extremely private setting, abutting the Ski out and woodland. To the rear is a private courtyard where the Hot Tub is located. Accommodation is of a high quality finish with well planned and spacious rooms. The living room is open plan to a large dining area and an open plan gourmet kitchen. There are three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a queen sofabed in the lounge. Complimentary Internet and Cable TV is offered and Secure underground parking. A hugely popular property. We have a few properties in this popular development for larger groups.

I booked this through whistlerreservations.com who were absolutely first class. Immediate replies to all my queries were given with a friendly 'never a problem' eagerness to help. And they were incredibly helpful at booking all the things we needed; having lift passes waiting for us in the property was terrific.

The house is organised over three levels. On the bottom floor is a small cupboard by the front door for storing skis etc. Just inside the front door there is a small vestibule and then another door leads into a staircase, a bathroom and two bedrooms. Unfortunately, the hot tub was also on this floor and, nice as it was, it meant traipsing through someone else's room in order to get to it. This arrangement also meant that you have to be careful to keep doors shut to ensure that cold air does not make the ground floor rooms cold.

On the next floor there was an open-plan kitchen and living area, which was nice. There was a TV, DVD and sound system, together...
