Mid Century Modern, post and beam construction home in central Penticton, with a view over the city and the surrounding mountains, and located in a very quiet and private neighbourhood. 3 bedrooms and a den, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen with an eating area, and a very large, open and bright living room and dining room. Hardwood floors throughout. A wall of windows in the living room and dining room let the beautiful Okanagan sunshine in. Large deck off the living room looks over the private pool and fenced back yard. Front yard is fenced also, and there is a very large driveway and double covered carport. Central location; easy access to all of Penticton's amenities, such as both lakes, the beaches, wineries, hospital, shopping, hiking and biking. Owner lives on site property in separate apartment.

About the neighbourhood
Located in a quiet neighbourhood with a fantastic central Penticton location. The property is located on a bank above the city, so privacy and views are a bonus! From your vacation rental, you can easily bike on the bikes provided, to the beaches on either Okanagan or Skaha Lake, take the bike route for easy access to the Channel Parkway. The home is easy walking distance to the hospital, so perfect for doctors on locum etc. The neighbourhood; mostly families, quiet, private, friendly and helpful. From your vacation rental, you have quick access to all the Okanagan wineries, OUC, Okanagan Hockey School etc.
Getting around
It is easy to get around this town. Of course by car is super easy, the roads are generally quiet with the possible exception of 'rush minute' on Government St. There are several bike lanes making it easy to commute by bike to both lakes and downtown. There is a bus stop a block away. It is easy to walk to downtown and the Farmer's Market in about 1/2 hour.
Grocery stores; IGA, Safeway and Save On Foods as well a liquor stores and beer and wine stores are all within 5 minutes.

Airport: Penticton regional airport: 8.1 km
Access to Penticton is easy from all directions!
Penticton has a regional airport 10 minutes from the here. Kelowna's international airport is 1 hour away and Vancouver's airport is about 4.5 hours away.
Highway 97 runs past Penticton. To get here by car, I live in a quiet family residential neighbourhood, less than 10 minutes from BOTH Okanagan and Skaha Lakes. You have easy access to all our famous local wineries and distilleries. In fact we have over 40 wineries within a 15 minute drive from the house.
Skaha Bluffs are about 15 minutes from here and Apex Mountain Resort is a 30 minute drive.
I have plenty of parking for you.
