This farm house is ideal for families who want to holiday together,a reunion of friends or for people who want a special occasion.Carsington provides a great place to base yourself to explore the Peak District.There are many attractions on the doorstep.

This beautiful 6/1 bedroomed Grade II listed stone Farmhouse is approximately 300 years old with oak beams and stone mullions which all add to the original character and charm of the building, whilst the log burner creates a warmth and cosy atmosphere for those long winter days.

The ground floor bedroom has a Double and a single bed also there is a shower and toilet on the ground floor.
5 Double Beds 7/8 single beds plus Sofa Bed

We stayed at Swiers Farmhouse for the weekend to celebrate our son's 18th birthday with extended family. We were coming from Buckinghamshire and many of the family from Yorkshire, so it was a good central location. Doug, the owner, was extremely helpful and replied to all my messages very promptly. Loads of space, loads of charachter We were a group of 4 couples so always knew that we would under occupy this property but were still surprised by the space and bed options. there were 5 private bedrooms with 2, 3 or 4 beds in each room, with at least one double in each room plus a more 'open' mezzanine...

This south facing Farmhouse sits at the heart of the tiny Peak District Village of Carsington,opposite the Village green and adjacent to the church & churchyard of St Margarets. The lush backdrop is Carsington pastures where sheep & cattle graze.

Carsington provides a great base for your stay in the Peak District. There are many attractions on the doorstep from Carsington Water, just a few minutes away, to the town of Bakewell and Chatsworth which are within half an hour drive.

The new Russell Crowe film Robin Hood is set 15 minutes away at Dove Dale.
Carsington Water is great place for sailing, fishing, off-road cycling, walking or relaxing in the restaurant over looking the lake.

Local Pub with good food and ale is just a 4 minute walk where the landlord will look after gue...
