A holiday home situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Branscombe, a short stroll through national trust countryside leads to the unspoilt beach and stunning coastal footpath. An ideal base for walking and exploring the surrounding area of east Devon. Our light, airy ground floor apartment in a small block of 4, in the village square is furnished and equipped to a very high standard with everything you need for a comfortable holiday.
The accommodation consists of kitchen, large L shaped living room with separate areas for sitting and dining, 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with bunk beds, bathroom with over bath shower.

Great accommodation in lovely village. Flat was clean and cosy with all requirements met. Picturesque beach minutes away. Great walks and pub just across the road.

About the neighbourhood
Branscombe is a truly picturesque village. it is reached by a long, winding , often single track road through a wooded valley.The area is farmed by the national trust and wild life abounds, particularly birdlife such as buzzards and peregrine falcons. There are many footpaths crisscrossing the village and the walk along the coastal footpaths is fantastic with stunning views from the clifftops.
The beach is unspoilt with just a thatched roof cafe. There is an old water mill and tearoom, a blacksmiths and 2 real ale pubs.
The donkey sanctuary is very close with activities for children such as Crealy Park, Bicton Gardens and Pecorama all within a short driving distance.
Getting around
Exeter airport is about 15 miles away. Honiton is the nearest station, 8 miles. It is possible to get a taxi from the station.
There is a coastal bus service in summer, 4 times a day through the village and every hour from the main road between Lyme Regis, Seaton and Exeter. There are loads of walks around.The coastal bus service can be useful when walking sections of the coastal footpath.
To visit the wider area a car is recommended.
