Local attractions include RHS Harlow Carr Gardens,the trails through Nidd Gorge,the National Trust managed Brimham Rocks,Ripley Castle,and the wonderful Fountains Abbey. Also consider renting this cottage if you are a vendor or guest at a convention / event at the HCC or the Showgrounds in Harrogate. Try out a day trip to the cities of York or Leeds for nightlife,culture and shops. Go through the doorway to the lounge with its stone flooring and soft furnishings and cosy rugs. Ceiling beams evoke a homely feeling as you unwind in the lounge on furniture that centres about the wood burner-effect gas fire. There is also a TV/DVD,iPod dock and a games console to enjoy at the end of a long day of exploring. The kitchen comes well equipped with an electric oven and hob,washing machine,microwave,fridge/freezer,dishwasher and microwave. You can reach the compact garden patio via the kitchen too. Upstairs on the first floor you will find the three bedrooms – one double,one twin and one single (with a double bed for an optional sixth guest.) Children are welcome but please bring your own cot and highchair for infants. The bathroom benefits from a bath with shower and WC. To the rear of the house is an enclosed patio garden with outdoor furniture and fences. BBQs are permitted but please bring your own disposable set-up. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars at the church park across the road. Permits are kept at the cottage. More
