The Granary has a Swiss style balcony and offers luxurious spacious living with panoramic views of farmland. It's location is ideal for cycling, mountain biking, golf, the whisky trail, ancient Castles and Houses, excellent restaurants and beaches.The large dining kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and very large fridge/freezer. It also has a large couch to relax on. The wood panelled lounge has a stove, four comfortable armchairs and a couch. There are three bedrooms. One has it's own bathroom. The other two are very large 'Modular' rooms, inspired by hotel rooms in Florida and have Californian King Size double beds that were specially made. One of these also is a Family room with a bunk bed. The house has 3/4 acre of land and is a very peaceful and spacious to relax.

We've had the pleasure of staying here for 3 times and the balcony is a great addition this year , it's nice and peaceful with only a few cottages surrounding the granary , tesco is 5 minutes away in Buckie, there's quite a few kids...More

The House located in the North East of Scotland, midway between Aberdeen and Inverness and only one km from the Sea.

The area is famous for Light evenings in Summer when the Sun hardly sets. You can sit out the back of the house in dull daylight at Midnight and watch it get lighter again. The light is special in the area. As we are far North in Scotland, 300km North of Glasgow, there is no light pollution, and stars can clearly be seen most of the year round.

The land is open countryside and gives a feeling of space. In Summer many fields become golden with barley. The sea is never far away making Ornithology is a rich experience. It is a luxurious and relaxing spacious place.

From England:

by Car, head for Perth. Either use the A9 after Perth and turn off at Aviemore heading for Elgin, or Head for Aberdeen and West after towards Keith.

From Mainland Europe:


Easyjet fly at low cost direct from all over Europe to Edinburgh For example Basel to Edinburgh takes two hours and in low season has very low fares. Easyjet also fly to Inverness and Aberdeen usually after a change at Gatwick in London. The direct flights to Edinburgh and Glasgow save changing, and a hire car from there is a good option to drive North to the house.


Zeebrugge to Hull in England. Drive North to Scotland and head for Aberdeen. From there follow the main Aberdeen to Inverness route. from the ferry port in Hull to the Granary can be done in one days drive.
