The Salty is a beautiful contemporary refurbished barn in a spectacular coastal location with panoramic views overlooking Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount. With extensive use of natural materials, including reclaimed driftwood, the feel of the property is one of openess and simplicity.

The Salty has a huge panoramic window which showcases the wonderful light that graces this part of the world in all weathers.

Contemporary wood burner, underfloor heating, 30 inch tv and DAB radio with i-pod docking add a sense of cosiness. There is also wifi.

The light and airy bedroom has a double bed. There is also a very comfortable single pull-out bed which can be used in the bedroom or the main room for a child or young adult.

About the neighbourhood
Trebarvah lies just 1/4 a mile east of Perranuthnoe with its popular sandy beach, recommended by the Marine Conservation Society Good Beach Guide for its excellent water quality, and popular with surfers. A mile to the west lies Marazion with access to the National Trust run St Michael's Mount, one of the jewels of the peninsula. St Ives is approximately a 30 minutes drive away, although catching the local train from St Erth is an easier and more relaxing option. There is a very good pub, two cafes and a farm shop all within easy walking distance and nearby Penzance boasts all the facilities expected in a popular tourist destination.

How to get there
Railway: Penzance: 5.0 km
By car: Follow the A30 toward Penzance until reaching the Penzance-Helston-Marazion roundabout where you will turn right onto the A394 Helston road. Carry on for approximately 4 km passing a right hand turn for Perranuthnoe. After 500 metres, on reaching the village sign for Rosudgeon, turn immediately right (signposted Trebarvah). Follow the tarmac road for 800 metres until you arrive in an unpaved parking area belonging to the farm. Ahead of you the track heads toward the coast (signposted Private, residents only).
