Plumrose is a charming one story, open plan house with high wooden ceilings in a great location, set in tidy lawned gardens. It is one minute away from the beach and within sight of the harbour, with easy access to the supermarkets, bars, shops, restaurants and banks including the lovely Belmont walkway.

Accommodating up to four persons, Plumrose has two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living area and a large deck.

The property has many fruit trees including mango (three species), plumrose, wax apple and coconut. Its spacious fenced grounds make it an ideal setting, especially for families with young children or persons with hip or knee problems.

Plumrose is a perfect base for reading, swimming, diving, sun bathing, walking and exploring the other Grenadines Islands.

My husband and I have just returned from spending the better part
of the Canadian winter at lovely Plumrose House on beautiful Bequia.
Plumrose House is a quintessential Caribbean cottage on a large lot
surrounded by coconut and mango trees.
The cottage has a deep wrap-around veranda for lounging and
alfresco dinners, an open concept kitchen, living and
dining area and two bedrooms with roomy closets. Plumrose House is
located in the very lively community of O’Car Reform and is
walking distance to beaches, shops, restaurants, cafes and markets.

Owners Lusan and John, are lovely and are quick to deal with any
issues that may arise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at lovely Plumrose House and
would certainly recommend it to family and friends.

The house was well kept and in an awesome location,so much so that it didnt even need to be locked quiet but yet close to all the easter activities, very breezy (no need for a/c, lusan was friendly and quite pleasant... highly reccomended spot.

About the neighbourhood
O’Car Reform is an old quiet estate founded by Bequia’s foremost whaling and fishing families. The fishing tradition lives on and there are restaurants, shops, a maritime museum and a model boat shop within easy walking distance of Plumrose. A lovely white sandy beach is less that a minutes walk with a dinghy dock from which one can take a water taxi.

The main town of Port Elizabeth is less than five minute walk. It has a fish market, vegetable market, restaurants, bars, art galleries, bank/a.t.m., pharmacy, hospital, shops and the ferry dock. The Belmont walkway starts in Port Elizabeth and provides an easy seaside stroll to Princess Margaret Beach and Lower Bay Beach via two scuba diving shops and several seaside cafés.
