Palermo The capital city of Sicily and only 20 minutes away by car. Palermo is an ancient city with so much to see with its many churches, tombs and historic buildings, including the famous catacombs. The catacombs house 8,000 mummified bodies of wealthier citizens which date back to 1621.
Etna The highest volcano in Europe, Etna is only 3 hours drive on the motorway and something not to be missed. Travelling to Etna means you cross an amazing landscape where extinct craters and lunar landscapes are surrounded by green vegetation. Climbing Etna is something you will never forget.
Agrigento A hilltop city where the ruins of the ancient city of Akragas can be seen and where the Greek temples are the best preserved in the world.

Airport: Palermo: 25.0 km
By Air Palermo airport (40 min to the villa) Regular flights from Stansted (Ryanair), Gatwick and Luton (Easyjet) and Heathrow (British Airways).
Catania airport (2.5 hours to the villa) has regular flights from Luton and Gatwick (Easyjet).
By Car Take the ring road towards Catania (A19) Messina (A20). Near Villabate you will see the sign Agrigento SS:121. Follow SS121 for about 12 km. Take the exit for Bolognetta, at the roundabout take the exit for Baglio Ulvi or Tenuta Scozzari. Follow the road to the top of the hill and you will see a sign for Villabate. You are now looking at the villa.
