Position: This happy ocean-front villa, built in the Caribbean colonial style, is situated right on the edge of the sea in Turtle Bay, on the southern coast of the island of Antigua. It offers unparalleled and uninterrupted views across gentle waves to the island of Montserrat and has been positioned to make the most of every evening’s glorious sunset and the spectacular Caribbean skies. Turtle Bay is a quiet location off the beaten track with only the sound of waves to lull you to sleep. If you are looking for a respite surrounded by nature at its most beautiful, just sit back and enjoy the pool and the view over the sea. For a bit more buzz, a 10 minute drive will get you to Falmouth and English Harbours with their bustling marinas, restaurants, bars, and nightlife. Quite rightly, all of Antigua’s beaches are open to the public, but this can mean that houses on sandy beaches suffer from a lack of privacy. Turtle Bay was particularly chosen as the location for this home as it has one of the most extraordinary coral reefs in the Caribbean to snorkel over just below the house, whilst the pebbly shore means that your privacy will be maintained. Meanwhile there is a ‘secret’ small sandy beach just 150 yards away. In English Harbour are 2 amazing beaches, galleon and Pigeon. The spectacular Rendezvous Trail starts close by and leads into the next bay’s beautiful and undeveloped beach, considered to be one of the loveliest in the Caribbean. Scuba-diving, sailing, tennis, squash, turtle-watching are all available nearby whilst a Horse riding club is 5 mins drive away if you’d like to join them to swim with the ponies! For the historians and walkers, you are in a perfect situation to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the rainforest with tree-top zip wires, and endless trails are 20 mins in the other direction. During the summer Admiralty House provides the perfect haven after a day at Carnival, while in the winter and spring it is a great spot for families or captains and crew to base themselves, and/or spectators to watch the world's most spectacular boats sail by, during Antigua’s famous sailing races. The Main House: Admiralty House has four double bedrooms, each with an ensuite bath/shower room. Turtle View – This beautiful corner room enjoys views over the sea to Turtle Rock in one direction, plus French doors onto a balcony and the magical sight of Montserrat in the distance in another. It has a Queen size double four-poster bed and an ensuite shower room. Montserrat – This is the grandest bedroom in the house. It is huge, with French-doors opening onto a wraparound balcony and views over the sea to Montserrat Island. It enjoys an enormous King bed plus a sitting area/dressing area and a large bathroom. Silk Cotton – This happy room overlooks the spectacular Silk Cotton tree that gives it its name and the lush garden to the front of the house. It offers the option to provide a king size double bed or can be split to provide two single beds. There is an ensuite bath/shower room. Palm – This corner bedroom feels rather like a bird’s nest nestled amongst the palm trees. It offers the option to provide a king size double bed or can be split to provide two single beds. There is an ensuite bath/shower room. On the ground floor there is a large light and bright Hall/Reception room, ideal for entertaining, with a baby grand piano and a trombone and drum provided! In addition, there is an elegant Drawing Room, plus Dining Room and TV/extra Sitting Room. The kitchen is not enclosed by four walls, and is open to the elements on one side, all the better to enjoy the sea view and the gentle trade winds. You may find yourself with a small bird on your shoulder at breakfast! It has a large table able to seat 12. The Annex: This consists of two bedrooms, plus a central covered area for socialising. Frangipani – This room comes with two double beds, and an ensuite bathroom. The four windows and Juliette balcony allow the trade wind breezes to flow through plus provide views of the Frangipani in the tropical garden to the front of the house and a (limited) view of the sea to the side of the property seen between trees along the shoreline Hibiscus – This room also comes with two double beds, and an ensuite bathroom. The four windows and Juliette balcony allow the trade wind breezes to flow through plus provide views of the Hibiscus and other flowers in the tropical garden to the front of the house and a (limited) view of the sea to the side of the property seen between trees along the shoreline Outside: To the front of the house - there is parking for more than four cars and a tropical garden. To the sea side of the house – The swimming pool, bar, outside fridge, tables, chairs, and sun-beds all overlook the ocean and have wonderful views across it to the islands in the distance and the Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: 10946202

The Perfect Week. A week spent in paradise, surrounded by vibrant colours, with plenty of activities at your fingertips.
Ad. House has it all. Lovely rooms all in ear/eyeshot of the sea. A big pool, outside dining areas and bbq made for some stunning evenings in, eating with a sunset view. The owners have cleared a path through the reef, allowing you to snorkel and swim, surrounded by vibrant corals, fish, rays and even a nurse shark. Amazing! The house is located in a safe and secure area with friendly neighbours. Perfectly tucked away, out of sight from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to English harbour to be able to access all the great beaches, restaurants, sports and bars with ease. Great views of the racing during sailing week. I will be recommending the house to all my friends and be taking another week there in the future. F. Marshall England

Admiralty House - Take Me Home to Paradise
Admiralty House is stunning. Beautifully situated in quiet Turtle Bay, just a step away from English Harbour, and within easy reach of all the local amenities, restaurants, bars, and beaches - all 365 of them, and every one breathtaking. Pigeon Beach a particular favourite. The house is elegantly and comfortably furnished, beautifully laid out to absorb 12 people without being crowded. Bedrooms are spacious, beds and pillows are comfy, good air con and fans, and the water pressure is excellent. Mosquito nets also effective, but we closed our bedroom door just before sunset and we had no bother at all. There is always plenty of spray to give protection when out and about. We added to it by getting some, and leaving it there for others to use. Kitchen well equipped with an enormous fridge! Games, candles, books, and even a mini-grand piano! Gas barbecue and a fabulous outside bar area, again with fridge. We particularly loved the sweet seashell cabinet that housed shells collected by previous guests with adorable messages attached - don’t forget to add yours! The house is private, the pool warm and clean, plenty of sunbeds, and the terrace literally looks straight over the sea. You could almost touch it. The space below the deck is rocky which is fabulous as you remain completely undiscovered, and the owners have thoughtfully carved out a clear path through to a sandy area, and provided beach shoes and snorkelling gear, so you can enjoy the coral and all it’s inhabitants literally from the back door. The view from this amazing spot is ever-changing; whether staring across to Montserrat, watching the sailing boats sweep by, or quietly meditating while staring into the waves as they gently come in. The local wildlife is very friendly, and we shared breakfast each day with the pretty local birds. They are very partial to a slice of watermelon which we put out on the bannister shelf for them. Top Tip! Plenty of parking out front, and secure gates, you will need a car. Easy to book before you arrive, and they’re left at the airport for you. Antigua itself is wonderful. Friendly people, excellent local restaurants and some fascinating history. Nelson’s Yard is a must. Recommend going to Shirley Heights on a Sunday late afternoon, everyone else does! The sunset is glorious and there is a steel band, followed by a live band, you’ll dance the evening away. Amazing bbq ribs and chicken and yummy rum punch - (recommend no more than two - the name gives the clue, they pack a punch!) Also recommend Asher Otto, who usually performs in the village on Friday nights. She is extraordinary and the band excellent. Dancing shoes required once more. All in all, Antigua is heaven, Admiralty House is a home from home (you’ll find yourself treating it as you would your own - we left all our supplies for others to use), and you will never want to leave. We loved, and lived, every second and we cannot wait to return, if only to play that mini-grand piano! Thank you Admiralty House.. “Take me home… Take me home… Take me home to paradise..”

The holiday of a lifetime!
The villa is beautiful and welcoming. With its boho character and inviting ambiance, every corner exuded charm and comfort. The villa's prime location, right on the beach, the views that greeted us each morning and accompanied us as we savoured sunset cocktails were breathtaking. There is a wonderful pool offering, a variety of great outdoor dining locations added an extra touch of magic to every meal. All 6 bedroom have their own en-suits, with plenty of storage and beautiful views. Moreover, the villa's layout ensured that everyone on the holiday had plenty of space to unwind in their own private oasis, yet common areas facilitated easy gatherings, allowing us to come together and create incredible memories that will last a lifetime.

Wonderful Villa, in a stunning location
We had the most fabulous time at Admiralty House. Swimming either in the pool, or the sea which laps up to the properties' terrace. Relaxed eating area outside with plenty of space inside the house for guests to enjoy. Evening sundowners around the bar overlooking the sea with a beautifully lit terrace for alfresco dinners. The house has a wonderful relaxed vibe about it, in a great location only 15 minutes from English Harbour, but easily accessible to other parts of the island. We will definitely be back!!!
