Ostlers Cottage is in the heart of the delightful seaside village of Winterton on Sea and its famous dunes are less than 2 minutes walk from the front gate. It is newly refurbished and offers well equipped, comfortable accommodation for families and small groups alike.

Downstairs the cottage has a lounge/diner with TV/DVD and stereo, a multi-fuel burning stove and comfy seating for 6. There is a sunny kitchen with fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher & fridge-freezer; bathroom with shower; separate wc and a utility/boot room with washing machine & tumble dryer and space for coats, boots etc.
The spacious ground floor bedroom can have either a superking-sized bed, or two singles. It has original beams, en-suite shower & WC, its own sofa and TV and patio doors onto the garden.

We can be contacted via Holiday Lettings at any time. and we will send details of how to get to the cottage a week or two before your holiday is due to start. We do not live in Winterton (but we'd like to!) and we have local agents who can get to the cottage very quickly if necessary.

Lovely cottage in the heart of the village. Very well equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Very clean, dog friendly and perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday. Will definitely return.

Absolutely lovely Victorian cottage, with up dates! Loads of room, and pet friendly! Close to the shops and pub, but you would never know, as the overall feeling is of peace and quiet. About the neighbourhood
Winterton-on-Sea is a traditional seaside village that has managed to avoid over-commercialisation. It has its share of holiday accommodation, but retains its individual character. The village itself is a Conservation Area and the dunes between the village and the beach is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Site of Special Scientific interest. The dunes are covered in grass, moss and heather and make for an enjoyable walk, aside from any interest you may have in the wildlife. A colony of seals 'reside' on the beach to the north of the village and can often be seen playing in the waves along the coastline.
Getting around
There are buses into Lowestoft (along the Suffolk coast) and Great Yarmouth; thence trains to Norwich and from there trains or coaches to the rest of the UK. However, a car is essential for local journeys. There is parking for one car on the front drive, and another can be parked on the road outside (boxing it in). There is also free parking in the village.
