The Old Malthouse sits in the heart of the village, within a few moments walk of the highly rated Notley Arms public house which serves freshly prepared and locally sourced foods, along with a selection of Somerset's finest ales, beers and ciders. There are a number of designated footpaths close to the property including the famous Coleridge Way. In 1583 Sir Francis Drake was married in the village church which is now a Grade 1 listed building.

The owners have made a huge effort t make people feel welcome and totally at home. Everything about the cottage is new and comfortable with everything you will need for a stay. We have just got back from a 5 night stay at the Old Malthouse. Lovely traditional old cottage with thick walls, beams and sloping floors. Although an old cottage the decoration is all pretty perfect and furnished to a high standard. Well equipped kitchen, with everything you would need.
