The kitchen has all the latest gadgets and is fully equipped for 4 people. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of this holiday home. In the living area there is a flat screen TV with full sky TV package, a selection of DVD’s, X box, wii package. Games, including many board games, are available for you to enjoy during your stay with us. Both bedrooms have TV,s with built in DVD players and freeview channels. Here at serendipity we appreciate your pooches are a part of your family. We welcome 'well behaved ' pooches (maximum of two small breads ). Please feel free to contact us to clarify this. We charge an additional fee of 35.00 to steam clean all soft furnishings after pets have visited us, allowing us to keep serendipity in 'tip top' condition for future guests. If you want to go further afield Goosewood Holiday park is situated only 9 miles from York city centre, where you can enjoy the many activities York has to offer including York Dungeon, Jorvic Viking Centre, York Railway Museum, Castle Museum, York Minster and of course “The Shambles” to name but a few. We can advise you of some great places to dine! For the younger ones Creepie Crawlies is a few miles away from Goosewood, along with a horse riding school. Staying at Serendipity enables you to explore the Yorkshire area whether it be fish and chips in Whitby, the traditional seaside town of Scarborough, Flamingo Land theme park or the spa town of Harrogate there is plenty to see and do. If a spot of retail therapy is your thing then Goosewood Holiday Park is a short drive to large shopping centres such as the new Vanguard Centre housing John Lewis, Next and York’s flag ship Marks and Spencer store. We are only a short drive to McArthur Glen Designer Outlet Village. Of course you may just want to relax on site, enjoy a soak in your private hot tub and a cool drink on the veranda. The list of opportunities of things to do whilst based in Serendipity is endless.
