The loft has a wooden deck with a beautiful view. However, there is no bathroom upstairs so it is necessary that those sleeping upstairs use the bathroom in the downstairs part of the house. The house is always rented out as one unit. There is also a fully equipped and modern kitchen downstairs, a full bathroom, and private BBQ facilities at the cottage. Meals can be enjoyed in the spacious living area. Note : We have recently upgraded our living area, the outdoors furniture and re-painted the cottage. Free WiFi. Hiking (guided or self) nearby. We are just a few minutes away from the Crags Wine Route, Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Jukani and many more. More

We loved everything. Toni and Mike are really nice and helpfull people. The pool was great and clean. We had everything we needed. Getting to the bedroom via the outside stairs at night was a real adventure for my son. He loved it.

The location is so peaceful with the most wonderful views. We only stayed 2 nights and the weather was not good so did not use the pool but it looked lovely and very private, Toni was most welcoming and kind.

About the neighbourhood
We are in Askop Road which is a rural and quiet road, with smallholdings and horse riding as well as the original Barnyard Theatre. We overlook the indigenous forest so we often see deer, guinea fowl and small creatures like monkeys and mongoose. The birdlife is extraordinary and the Knysna Turaco (Loerie) is seen daily.
