The Granary at Barritshayes is set in a stunning location, nestling amongst the hills of rural East Devon and yet only a few minutes from the Jurassic coast at Lyme Regis, Seaton, Beer, Branscombe and Sidmouth. We have excellent facilities for both families and couples with our superb outdoor heated pool (open May to end Sept), games room, tennis court and plenty of outside space with fantastic views. Well all I can say is wow I needed so rand r husband go brain tuma son Autistic so needed som me time this cabin was just what I needed Liz was really nice a warm welcome

we had a great stay. we liked being able to show our baby the animals on the farm and using the games room. the facilities in the granary were fine and it was nice and peaceful to sleep. the nearby towns are very pretty and...More

Owners extremely friendly and couldn't have made us more welcome. We hired the two cottages and the swallows cabin to celebrate family birthday. Great for the grandchildren, big open spaces for them to run around in view of the cottages, games room, tennis court, heated...More

About the neighbourhood
There are many pretty villages and small towns in our area and being located near to the coast and in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' we enjoy the best of both worlds. Pubs and eateries abound in the area and we can always provide tips to our favourite places. The lace and market town of Honiton is just a few miles away with a wide high street lined with interesting individual shops, with antiques featuring heavily and an assortment of restaurants and pubs. There is a very popular street market twice a week throughout the year.

Airport: Exeter: 16.0 km
Railway: Honiton: 7.0 km
From the middle of Honiton High Street take New Street towards the station. Drive under the railway bridge and up the hill to a mini roundabout. Turn left and then immediately right, signed to Seaton and Farway. Go up a steep hill passing Honiton Golf Club at the top and keep on this road for about 3 miles. Turn left at a sign to 'Colyton 3 miles' and keep on this road. We are the 1st house on the left after nearly a mile.

From Colyton, take Queen Street, opposite the library, and continue over a stone river bridge. After about 100 mts take the left fork at the playground area signposted to Northleigh. We are 2 miles from here on the right hand side, opposite two bungalows on the left.
