Wenton Farm has two modern self catering cottages located on our 112 acre beef cattle property. Each cottage has a front deck and paved back area both overlooking different aspects of the property and fully fenced for child safety.
Cottages are two or three bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining/lounge and large outdoor deck area with undercover barbecue.
Cottages both have R/C air conditioner, TV/DVD, and linen provided.
Guests may park their cars on site next to cottage.
Guests can wander most areas of the property safely. Property is pleasantly undulating, well treed and green for most of the year. Enjoy views of hillsides and dam. See Angus cattle and ‘local’ kangaroos grazing in the paddocks and wonderful native birds. Chickens are kept on the farm and free range the property.

Peaceful and quiet yet only 500 metres from an arterial road and 5 minutes drive to local beach and shops and an easy drive to River Murray mouth at historic Goolwa, Horseshoe Bay at beautiful Pt Elliot and Granite Island at Victor Harbor. Urimbirra wildlife park is also within easy distance. Wineries abound with the local wineries 10 to 15 minutes away to McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek wine districts is 35 minutes away.
Staying at Wenton Farm allows you to enjoy all the region has to offer and return to the peace and quiet, watching and hearing the 'local natives'.

Water conservation – Our water supply is rainwater in the cottage for all water use (including shower and toilet).
Power conservation – Cottages have mains power and gas. Please do not leave cooling or heating on when you go out. Both have timers. Please leave only outside light on when going out as inside has sensor light when arriving back after dark.
Rubbish and Recycling – We have bins for both recyclable and non-recyclable refuse. We also encourage food waste to be given to the hens.
Wenton Farm is 600 metres from an arterial road and 5 minutes drive to Middleton beach and shops.
River Murray mouth at historic Goolwa is an easy 10 minute drive as is Horseshoe Bay at beautiful Pt Elliot.
Granite Island with it's historic horse drawn tram and Urimbirra wildlife park both located at Victor Harbor are also within easy distance.
Wineries abound with the local wineries 10 to 15 minutes away and McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek wine districts are 40 minutes away.

While there is a lot to see and do around Wenton Farm and car is recommended as a choice of transport.
