About the neighbourhood
This is one of the most convenient suburbs to stay in. It is adjacent to Sea Point which has a wide variety of restaurants, take-outs, coffee shops and retail stores, only 1km away from the apartment. Only 10 minutes drive to the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town's amazing Waterfront Shopping Mall, the CBD as well as Clifton Beach and Camps Bay. The promenade is always bustling with runners, cyclists and walkers. Take a walk from the apartment, along the promenade, all the way from Sea Point through Mouille Point, past the lighthouse, 3 Anchor Bay and on the V&A Waterfront. Using Uber is convenient to move around the city, or hire a bike at the promenade!
How to get there
From the airport, take an Uber (Recommended), or a shuttle. An Uber costs approximately R200 (US$14). If you don't have an Uber, we will arrange one for you on your arrival. Uber taxis are widely used in Cape Town. During peak season, parking at the beach and main roads is very difficult, so the convenience of drop-off and pick up are easier. If you need a car for your longer excursions to wine farms and other touring, there are plenty of car rental agencies, and ample street parking is available around the apartment.
