There is private parking for 2-3 cars, a small garden (with astroturf from the 2012 Olympics!) and table and chairs for outdoor dining. The large boot room on the ground floor is great for dumping all your coats and boots after a walk on the nearby National Trust commons. There is a dartboard (with darts) and stair gates can be put up upon request. More

About the neighbourhood
The house sits in the heart of the historic market town of Minchinhampton which has an organic dairy, with its own milk, cheeses, meats and cakes; coffee shops, an award-winning butcher, a chemist, and many other facilities. A five minute drive away is the larger town of Nailsworth, a Fair-trade town with supermarkets, restaurants and pubs. Stroud is only a 15 minute drive away with an award-winning farmers market and many more shops. But arguably the main attractions of Minchinhampton are the National Trust commons which are a mere two minute walk away from our house. With breathtaking views and sunsets, a golf course on one of the commons and several pubs, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to walks and views.
Getting around
A car is not necessary - however it would be sad not to take advantage of this location and drive around the Cotswolds. Trains run from Stroud to London Paddington (approx 1 hr 45 mins) and there are also buses from Stroud to Minchinhampton. Cheltenham is a 30 minute drive or can be reached by train from Stroud, or even by bus.
