Holiday Rental House
Forget a room with a view, how about a cabin with a view, and a hot tub too! Sunset Cabin is a place to escape it all in a stunning location within 22 acres of north Devon countryside and lying near to an iron age hillfort and a lake. This self catering cabin has 3 bedrooms that comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults (in 2 double beds) and 2 children (in bunk beds). The location is perfect for a holiday in north Devon with plenty to explore, such as the wonderful beaches and Exmoor National Park. After a long day exploring north Devon why not unwind, with a glass of something nice, while watching the spectacular sunset. Sunset Cabin has the most wonderful sunset views that will take you breath away. Followed by a clear night with the most beautiful starry skies, this truly is a special place....Forget a room with a view, how about a cabin with a view, and a hot tub too! Followed by a clear night with the most beautiful starry skies, this truly is a special place. The two double bedrooms are both good sizes, one with an ensuite shower room, and there is one family bathroom. The smaller bedroom has bunk beds to sleep 2 children (not suitable for adults). Despite having 3 bedrooms this cabin is popular and cosy enough as a romantic getaway for a couple! Towels and linen are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with all that you'd expect including a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven. The living room is comfortable and cosy ... especially when the log burner is lit! The cabin has it's own private hot tub for guests to relax and enjoy throughout their holiday. It is important the guests read the guidance on how to operate and safely use the hot tub in order to keep it clean and make the most of it, which we email to guests prior to their stay. Please note the hot tub may be out of action on the day of your arrival due to cleaning, but will be ready for use in the morning. There is parking for up to 2 cars and an enclosed garden although you are welcome to explore the 22 acres of countryside at your leisure, which includes woodlands, a lake and an iron age hillfort. On a clear day you can see sea views to Hartland Point in Cornwall, and on a clear night the stars are breathtaking! We are very dog friendly and doggies are welcome to stay. Please note that dogs must be kept off all furniture, muddy paws must be cleaned before entering the cabin, and all dog poo must be picked up from the garden and paths. There is an additional charge for more than 2 dogs. The cabin is in a rural location, about a 5 minute drive from the village of Bratton Fleming. There are a number of great pubs/restaurants (many of them dog friendly) that we can recommend which are all within a 10 - 30 minute drive away. There is plenty to see and do in north Devon during your visit. Why not try your hand at surfing at the nearby beaches such as Croyde, Saunton Sands and Woolacombe, or hire a bicycle and ride the famous Tarka Trail, or go hiking in Exmoor, or walk the spectacular South West Coast Path? Other attractions to visit include Arlington Court and Castle Hill Gardens that are also very close if you like to explore National Trust properties, or for something different you could visit Quince Honey Farm in nearby South Molton. There’s plenty for kids too, such as the Exmoor Zoological Park, Milky Way Adventure Park and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. Please note the lodge is unfortunately not disability or wheelchair friendly. There are 3 holiday cabins/lodges in total at Mossy Beech, Hillfort Cabin, Sunset Cabin and Woodpecker Lodge. They are nicely spaced apart allowing for privacy of guests who are staying here. If you have a large party then please do enquire for more than 1 cabin/lodge. Please see the summary below of each property and to view each listing please go to the 'About the Owner' section further down the page and click on 'See more properties'. Hillfort Cabin - our smallest cabin with 2 double bedrooms, sleeps up to 4 Sunset Cabin - 2 double bedrooms and 1 small children's bunk bed room, sleeps up to 6, plus private hot tub Woodpecker Lodge - our largest property, 3 double/king bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, sleeps up to 8, plus private hot tubMore

First of all, the cabin was fantastically equipped with more than we expected (cooking oils, washing up liquid, soaps etc.) and it is set in a very picturesque setting with a superb view of the sea and the living areas are superb, the pictures really...More
