A cosy two bedroom holiday home on the beautiful isle of Bute. With stunning views from the bedrooms. The apartment is Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, friends and families, kids and is animal friendly.

The Isle of Bute is perfect for a holiday that offers a combination of sea views, beautiful countryside, as well as a activities and a lively centre with great local places to eat.

The hallway oozes character and provides access to all rooms. The open plan living room/kitchen is situated to the rear with a lovely outlook over the shared drying green and is bathed in natural light from the two large windows and skylight to the kitchen area. The lounge area has a multi fuel stove with ample space for a dining table and chair. The kitchen comprises a storage cupboard, fridge/freezer, electric cooker, washing machine and dishwasher.

The entrance to the property is at the back of the building. Please walk up the steps between the buildings. On the left is our flat, the middle door of three flats under the white awnings. The key box is on the left side of the door (code 4886). One key opens the storm door, the other opens the internal door. Once inside the storm door you will walk up the stairs and our flat is on the left. Inside you will find the beds made up as you have requested. We have BT wifi at the flat. The login details are on the back of the modem You have full access to the garden at the back of the property. Bikes can be locked to railings leading up to the flat. At the end of your stay please lock both doors and lock the keys in the keybox.

We had a very enjoyable weekend. Lovely well equipped, clean flat. Would recommend.for a short break. If you are lucky like us, you won't see the rain.

About the neighbourhood
The island has a rich diverse history. There are walks, beaches, wildlife, birdwatching, kayaking, golfing as well as restaurants, pubs, museums and galleries. The flat is located in Port Bannatyne near the marine which has beautiful views. The nearest beach is called Ettrick Bay, and is not far from the flat. It has a welcome cafe on the sea front. Getting around
There is a bus route around the island. There is a bus stop very close to the flat. There are also good driving roads around the island as well ofcourse wonderful walks.
The post office is a 2 minute walk from the flat.
Walk southwest on Castle Street towards Quay Street. Turn right onto Quay Street, then turn left onto Marine Road. The Post Office is 250 feet along this road. They serve coffee provided by the local roasters.
How to get there
Airport: Glasgow Airport: 54.0 km
Railway: Glasgow Central Train Station: 67.0 km
Ferry: Rothesay Ferry Terminal (To Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal ): 3.7 km
Taxis: You can take a 5 minute taxis journey. There is a taxi rank just to the left of the ferry terminal.
Buses: (Nos. 90, 479 & 490) Alternatively there are buses available. The bus journey will take approximately 12 minutes. Buses are located in Guildford Square directly opposite the Rothesay Ferry terminal. Alight at the Anchor Tavern on Marine Road. Turn left on Quay Street, Turn left on Castle Street.
Driving: Turn right onto Victoria Street, at the roundabout, take the second exit onto Argyle Street/ A886, continue for 1.7 miles. Just before Ardbeg Road becomes Marine Place, turn left into Castle Street.
Walking: A pleasant 45 minute walk along the coast, heading east towards Argyle Street. Then turn left into Castle Street.
