Joiner's Cottage is a lovely home from home, with a multi-fuel stove in the living room (all coal included), which also heats upstairs radiators, and downstairs electric heaters. The house is roomy, with plenty of space to spread out in, with contemporary suite and dining kitchen with granite worktops.

There is a downstairs utility/shower room, and upstairs are three bedrooms, a dble, and two twins, along with a family bathroom.

Outside, a charming flagged (enclosed) patio is south-facing, with garden furniture, so you can sit in the sun and relax.

Thwaite is a tiny village in upper Swaledale, the most beautiful of the Yorkshire Dales. Kearton Country Hotel is in Thwaite, and the village of Muker is a mile away, with tearoom/village shop, Swaledale Woollens, craft shop/gallery and the Farmer's Arms pub. The 2014 Tour de Franc...

We stayed in this wonderful, cosy cottage for 4 nights and loved it! The views of the Yorkshire Dales are incredible. We were situated in Thwaite - a small picturesque village but we were only a short drive from bigger towns like Muker and Hawes....More

So glad you loved the cottage, owners try their best to keep it as near perfection as they can. Swaledale is so pretty, and Thwaite lovely (very quiet).

Glad the cottage lived up to expectations and was up to standards expected. Swaledale is the most beautiful place in the world, although we're not biased!
