Homestead Stables is a conversion of stables into four modern and comfortable holiday lets.

White Horse Cottage is one of four holiday homes within Homestead Stables.

You can enjoy your relaxing self catering holiday with family and or friends, cosying up around the wood burning stove and marveling at the stars in the outdoor shared hot tub. There are excellent local amenities within walking distance, so 'self' catering can include pub restaurants, take ways, barbeques or even cooking. The countless attractions to visit and activities to enjoy locally will keep you as busy or not as you wish to be.

The cottages are beautifully thought out and designed, and so fresh and comfortable. We stayed for two nights and will have no hesitation in booking again. They are located so as to give the impression of being very secluded, but there are amenities nearby in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. There are extras such as a log burning stove (with clear instructions as to how to light it), and a hot tub which was fantastic and put to full use in a very cold February. I cannot recommend Homestead Holiday Lets, and in particular the White Horse cottage, highly enough.

About the neighbourhood
Market Lavington is a rural village in Wiltshire, on the edge of Salisbury Plain. It has fantastic countryside, great for admiring, walking, riding, scenic drives and has lots of tourist attractions.
Market Lavington has excellent amenities (well in village terms anyway). There's a Post Office, Co-op store (open 07:00 to 22:00 daily), coffee shop, local pubs with restaurants, butchers, GP surgery, and swing parks.

Airport: Bristol Lulsgate: 80.0 km
Railway: Pewsey & Westbury: 17.0 km
Ferry: Southampton: 70.0 km
From the North (Devizes, Wiltshire);
Follow road signs for the A360 south (Salisbury direction), 5 miles to Littleton Panell.
Turn left on the B3098 (Lavington Lane) & drive one mile (straight on at mini roundabout) to Market Lavington
Continue through Market Lavington High Street, with the Coop Food Store on your left to mini roundabout.
Straight on at mini roundabout and drive 100 metres to left turn on to Drove Lane.
Drive half a mile up Drove Lane, passing St. Barnabas Primary School on left, the Elisha Playing Fields on right.
Turn left by log with Homestead Farm on it. If the road is not tarmacced you have gone too far.

Caution-Only drive up Drove Lane from the above Market Lavington direction. The other direction from Kings Road is not tarmacced and is very rough.
