Getting around
The apartment is in a great location in the village of Olhos de Agua. The resort has kept it's old fishing village charm where you can still see the fresh catch of the day being brought in on the beach and also on the menu in the local restaurantes!
Beaches are second to none , whichever one you choose from -all are spotless with golden sand and most have gorgeous terracotta backdrops.

If you wish to venture further afield local buses run regulary to the nearby resorts of Vilamoura where you can enjoy the bustling Marina, a night at the Casino or a great game of family Crazy Golf ...or the real thing at one of the 7 famous golf courses.

Albufeira , the main tourist resort in the Algarve is also a short bus/ taxi ride away and here you can

Airport: Faro Airport: 30.0 km
Railway: Ferreiras (Albufeira): 5.6 km
A pre-booked taxi for up to 4 pax will cost 30€ each way or a minibus 5-8 pax 40€ each way. Don't be caught out by not booking in advance and endure a long wait & extra charges.

There is also a shuttle bus that runs from the Airport but this is shared with other passengers that may arrive from different flights . As there will be seversl drop offs along the way transfer time can be upt to 2 hours and the cost per person does not make this a suitable option to start your holiday .
