How to get there
Airport: Cape Town international airport: 155.0 km
Travelling from Cape Town, if time allows I would recommend you take the longer R44 road along one of the most beautiful seaside journeys in the Western Cape. You will see the lovely seaside villages of Rooi Els, Pringle Bay and Betties Bay with its lovely lagoon. Spend some time in the historic Hermanus with its wallowing Southern Right Whales and high cliffs. From there travel through Stanford on the sea and many wine farms offering meals and amazing local wines. If time is an issue take the N2 highway from the airport. Either way it will be a lovely trip to Napier.
