Marloth Park Conservancy/game reserve/wildlife sanctuary. Marloth Park is very special because wildlife roam freely throughout the African bush on the estate. It is one of the few areas in Africa where guests can intermingle with wildlife freely. Giraffe, zebra, kudu, impala and antelope of all kinds, warthogs, monkeys and ostriches are frequent visitors on the property. See our lovely photo gallery. Facility & Location: This upscale self-catering property has a variety of entertainment areas, catered from a well-equipped gourmet kitchen. A private swimming pool, braai area, Traditional African Boma (open-pit fire) area for viewing stars, wildlife and entertaining and outdoor dining add delight for a magical African Bush experience. The outside veranda/patio is beautifully lit and is adjacent to the pool, braai and Traditional African Boma areas. We invite you to come and experience a part of African magnificent in its abundance of wildlife but situated within a Wildlife Conservatory Area with lovely restaurants, bars, shops, and everything you would expect in a small friendly town or village. Situated only 25 km from the Malelane Gate (and 30 kms from the center of Malelane town and shopping malls) and 15 km from the Crocodile Bridge Gate, this home is the ideal base to discover the Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga’s Panorama Route, Swaziland, Mozambique and surrounding areas. A separate studio apartments that can be booked in addition to the house adding another bedroom and bathroom. Please inquire with your booking if you need addition sleeping accommodations. Relax in the pool area in the wonderful bush surrounds. Take a walk in the Wildlife Sanctuary, encountering tame game on the way. At night, around the fire pit or relaxing under the African sky in the Boma area, guests can hear the Lions Roaring, watch the antelope visit and listen to the night sounds in a peaceful safe environment. We have created a tranquil atmosphere which engages the sights, sounds and feel of the African Bush. It’s an experience you’ll never forget as you soak up the wildlife surrounds on offer. The main house on the property comprises of 2 comfortable en-suite bedrooms with showers, and a large open plan kitchen/great room plus two studio apartments. Renters can rent the entire property or ‘lock off’ bedrooms 1 and 4 making this an expandable property. The property was ideally designed to accommodate up to 8 guests in three comfortable private en-suite bedrooms with WiFi for those who most stay ‘connected’. We owners typically do not rent our suite and lock it off. Marloth Park is, for many, the very definition of the South African bushveld. It explores it, showcases it and lays it bare for the small local community and the tourists that come here for utter peace and tranquility. It is both a town and a nature conservancy, which means that it is close to perfect for nature lovers or those that really want to experience the wild beauty of this continent unhindered by development, urbanisation, or even fences. Marloth Park is situated on the border of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. However, the town and its people are particularly committed to the fauna and flora that makes this part of Mpumalanga so special. Therefore, they adhere to strict regulations regarding the hindering of the animals’ natural movement, and allow many of these species to cross this border freely and with no threat. In so doing, Marloth Park retains its biodiversity and is loyal to the variety and natural prosperity of South Africa. So, animals can be seen grazing, wondering the veld gracefully, or drinking from the mighty Crocodile River; just metres away from the homes of Marloth Park. In fact, almost half of the town’s land area is parkland, which caters to the plants and animals of the southern part of Kruger, which have chosen this as their natural habitat. Visitors to Marloth Park can look forward to seeing four of the Big Five; namely lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Elephants are only seen within Kruger itself, though, and can often be spotted More

Marloth is incredible (as is the Kruger National Park) but this property is actually on Crocodile Rd which is right on the river. That means you literally walk outside to the fence and right there in front of you you see hippos, elephants, lion, leopard,...More
