About the neighbourhood
Milford-on-sea is a pretty village centered around a village green, and has lots of independent shops, cafes, wine bars, pubs and restaurants. It has everything you need for a relaxing beach side holiday. The village has a real sense of community and there are a whole host of events happening over the summer from Art on the Green, Hampshire Open Studios, Open Gardens, and the much loved Milford Music Festival. There are two beautiful pebble beaches with spectacular views over to the Isle of Wight and the Needles. Great for swimming and paddle boarding! The Pleasure Gardens is a lovely woodland walk which follows the Dane Stream from the village centre up to the Cliff top (where you can enjoy an ice cream). Another beautiful walk takes you from the village centre, around Hatchet Pond...
