The 350 year's old stone built House consists of 4 uniquely decorated suites with authentic antique furniture from the family and fully equiped with all necessary accessories of a self-catering apartment.

Stratos family welcomes their guests with a carafe of local wine,home made sweets, a bottle of water and during their stay will have the opportunity to taste various home made specialities from Cyprus and Greek cuisine.
Coffee shops and restaurants are only 100 meters from the House.
A picnic basket waits for you every morning for breakfast with various home made traditional products that change each day for 9 euros per person.

I would like to say one of the best places I’ve stayed. The customer service and support is outstanding. They really love and care about what they do and can’t do enough for the guest. We loved our room and the village it self. We can’t wait to go back. Outstanding value for money and we can’t recommend it enough.

una calda ospitalità in un luogo accogliente e curato
Non potevamo chiedere di più dal nostro breve soggiorno in questa struttura così straordinariamente gestita da Elena e Giorgio. Nulla è lasciato al caso: dall'arredamento tradizionale riproposto con moderna cura all'accoglienza veramente calorosa dei due gestori. Speriamo vivamente di poterci tornare!

I wish we had known about this place before - if you have found it on a search , look no further!
We booked a 5 night stay in Kalavasos at Stratos house, and had the pleasure of meeting Elena & Giorgio and their lovely family. This 300 yr old traditional house is fantastic, with a great ambience and the feel of somewhere well loved that they are delighted to be able to share with others - from the caraf of homemade wine left for us to enjoy, and homemade treats from the minute we arrived ( very late) we were made to feel valued and special. Nothing is too much trouble and their attention to detail in all aspects of their property and service puts many places I have stayed at much greater expense to shame.
We found Stratos House by chance and thought the reviews were too good to be true - they are most definitely not, if anything it is hard to describe how lovely the place is, the village , the people, the setting - if you are looking for somewhere to relax, and remind yourself of why Cyprus is special we cannot recommend Kalavasos and Stratos House enough - we just hope they will still have room for us next year! In fact we were so impressed by our find, we altered our plans for our holiday and brought family see what we had loved so much - they too were beyond impressed and have already made plans to book a longer stay in spring next year. If your search has turned up Stratos House, book it - we have stayed in 3 of the 4 rooms and all are wonderfully equipped, unique in their design and spotlessly clean, you will be delighted you did!
