There are four bedrooms, all with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. On the ground floor, there is a twin room with private bathroom with shower. The further 3 bedrooms are located on the first floor. The master bedroom features a four poster king size bed, private dressing room, ensuite bathroom and large balcony with breathtaking views over Galilea and the surrounding mountains and olive groves. The further two bedrooms, one twin room with ensuite shower and one double with ensuite bath and shower and access to its own balcony overlooking Galilea. The natural light that floods through each room and its elevated position makes this Mallorcan stone finca the perfect place to enjoy rural Mallorca all year round. It’s the perfect house for two families and cycling enthusiasts who look to explore the numerous walks and cycle routes nearby. It has been recently updated by the owners with lots of attention for detail, blending traditional and modern features using lots of artwork by local artisans, Mallorcan Ikat fabrics, ambient lighting and boutique quality linen and towels. Entering the villa through its large wooden doors, you are welcomed by a spacious open plan living space, perfect for entertaining family and friends. The living area with TV with Satellite access and DVD player is bright and airy and leads through to the dining area seating up to eight. The large light kitchen enjoys views over the garden and swimming pool, has plenty of space and is fully equipped for cooking up a culinary masterpiece. What better way to make most of the Mallorcan lifestyle style by the almost floor to ceiling patio doors that open up onto a covered terrace with outdoor dining area. This terrace leads to the garden area complete with sunbeds and green lawns so you can soak up the sun whilst the children swim or play. On the other side of the villa, there is another terrace with comfortable sofas perfect for relaxing whilst taking in the stunning vistas overlooking the Serra De Tramuntana mountains. Can Galilea has WiFi Access throughout the whole property. Galilea village provides the perfect peaceful getaway off the tourist track with an excellent tapas bar, pizza restaurant, and the sea on the horizon. A short distance from Galilea are the beautiful mountain villages of Es Capdella and Puigpunyent, both with excellent dining nearby. Calvia with its weekly Monday market is around a 20-minute drive away. Andratx Town and Port, well-known for the production of local crops such as oranges, almonds, olives and grapes, is a 30-minute drive. Palma town is 30-minutes drive and 40-minutes to the airport. We had a fantastically relaxing time in this villa. We spent a lot of time in the pool (as it was very hot), went sight seeing late afternoon and had lazy late evening meals at the villa. We especially like the walled city of Alcudia,...More
