Although 'away from it all' the rest of the world is not so far from Villa Oleandro. The beach at Calenella Bay is just 5 minutes down the road and Vico del Gargano is a mere 10 minutes drive away. Here the fresh fruit and vegetable market is a marvel of choice and colour and the indoor fresh fish market a revelation and education. The excellent local butchers, bakers and mini supermarkets complete the food supply options and then, of course, there are numerous pizzerias and restaurants in which to savour the local cuisine. San Menaio 15 mins, Rodi and Peschici 20 mins and Vieste 30 mins offer a further plethora of choices.
