Maisey Cottage is a charming 200 year old, Grade II listed Cotswold cottage.
Located in the delightful small West Oxfordshire village of Kencot, near Burford, it is an ideal holiday destination for up to four people.

The cosy sitting room has a wood burning stove and an original flagstone floor. A contemporary, fully fitted kitchen/dining area, with underfloor heating, was added in 2016. The glass roof over the kitchen lets in lots of light. The other end of the room has bi-folding doors which open out onto a small area containing an ancient well. This contains water and has a glass top and internal lighting. There is also a glass roof over the area making it a lovely place to sit and chat. There is a utility room with WC, modern shower, washing machine and underfloor heating.

Upstairs there are exposed beams, two double bedrooms, a mo...

Interaction with guests
I live a few miles away from the cottage and look forward to meeting you on your arrival. The cottage has a large map on the hall wall with lots of places of interest, pubs, walks etc marked on it. I will be delighted to recommend places to visit to suit your interests ; there are many and varied things to do nearby. I will be available if you have any questions or problems during your stay. Do bring bicycles if you have them as the quiet country lanes are ideal for cycling.

A charming, well equipped cottage in a perfect location for exploring The Cotswolds. The cottage has been thoughtfully extended and has been kitted out with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. We would not hesitate to recommend...

We had a super stay at Maisey Cottage. Having been beautifully refurbished recently, it has all the charm of a traditional Cotswold cottage coupled with underfloor heating, a power shower and a lovely area that brings the outside in. It is very well equipped and feels like a home rather than a self catering holiday let. Wonderful in every way!

Management response:

Thank you so much for staying at Maisey Cottage. It was lovely meeting you and we really hope to see you back again.
