Hawkes Point is more than a 'take a booking' see you later. We like to make your holiday as memorable as possible. We have 24 hour call out and we always try to meet and greet or at least chat with you whilst on your stay, we are locally based and know the county inside out from top restaurants to quiet beach recommendations. We have a brilliant welcome pack that we send pre arrival so you can plan your whole trip with some help from ourselves so when you arrive your holiday really starts.

Third stay at The Sands - never fails to impress. Great location near to one of the best beaches in north Cornwall - so good that we didn't bother visiting any other beach this year! Station for train to St Ives just down the road...More

Over on the nearby South Coast in the famous artistic colony of Newlyn we would heartily recommend attending one of the exciting 1, 2 or 3 day art courses put on by Newlyn School of Art where you can be taught by many of the best known artists working in Cornwall today.A spectacular Links golf course is situated at nearby Lelant, just a five minute drive. By Road: From M5 at Exeter follow the A30 Okehampton, Bodmin and Truro. Follow the A30 until the end of Hayle Bypass then turn right for St Ives. Proceed through Lelant. Entering Carbis Bay, turn right onto Porthrepta Road signposted Carbis Bay beach. ‘Hawkes Point’ at ‘The Sands’ is 70 yards after the church on the left hand side.

By Rail: London Paddington to Penzance. Change at St Erth for St Ives, then leave the train at Carbis Bay. ‘Hawkes Point at ‘The Sands’ is approximately 200 yards walk up (a steep hill) Porthrepta Road on the right hand side.
