Overview
Holiday Rental House -
1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 3
Penryn, Falmouth, Cornwall, England
We are a small farm, now non-working except for a few chickens and friendly dog Meg. Our two cottages, Rose and Bryony, were converted in 2011 from former cowsheds by the architect Nigel Stock, and are furnished with furniture from MARK Product - our contemporary furniture business. They are all on one level with views across fields and each has a private west-facing deck with seating and barbeque. You are free to roam over our eight acres with a stunning view from the top taking in the span of Cornwall from north to south coasts. We are also close to many of Cornwall's finest beaches on the north, south and west coasts. A perfect base for a Cornwall holiday.
Bryony is our smaller cottage. It is ideally suited to a couple or couple with a baby. There is one double bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area - all on the sa...

About the neighbourhood
The city of Truro and towns of Penryn and Falmouth are close by with abundant pubs, restaurants and shops. Penryn is the closest (5mins) - a small, quiet town with much character and history, and now the home of Tremough, Cornwall's university campus - www.tremoughcampus.com. Falmouth is a lively town (15 mins). It boasts the third deepest harbour in the world (after Rio and Sydney) and has a proud seafaring history. Now home to the thriving art college, and with its cinemas, and award-winning art gallery, it has an energy about it which sets it apart from more sleepy Cornish towns. Truro (25mins) is Cornwall's capital and home to its best shops and the Hall for Cornwall with its varied programme of theatre www.hallforcornwall.co.uk. Other towns such as Redruth, Helston, Cam... more
