This fabulous Maison de Maitre (Master's House) dates back to 1825.

The house has over 600 square metres of living space with high ceilings, shutters and all that you would expect from a property of the calibre but with mod cons such as internet, SONOS sound system, Satellite TV etc.

The major attractions here are the stunning countryside views and the huge (15m. by 8m. maximum depth 3.4m.) pool with diving board, hi tech solar cover and fully compliant double alarm system.

The house has 6 bedrooms 5 of which have en suite bathrooms and one bedroom has a shower room with wc.

The house has internet access, flat screen TV's, DVD players, microwave,dishwasher, sun loungers and a gas BBQ.

We also have a small lake with carp in it.

I have tried my best with pricing and dates, especially school holidays which are slightly different all over Europe. Please ask if you require something different though, as I'm sure the above isn't as comprehensive as I would like!Electricity and Gas are provided. Towels and bed linen also.We ask you to leave the property as you found it please.To secure your booking we require a 20% deposit in advance.The remainder is due 6 weeks prior to the start of the let. We also require a minimum of £250 damage deposit which is due at the same time as the balance of the rental.This will be sent back as soon as the cleaner/owner or manager has inspected the property at the end of the let.We will send you a contract via email, and payment can be either cheque or bank transfer.Please email or phone 07809 299874 or 01983 281891 for prices.

St. Jean d’Angèly - Medieval market town full of character with leafy squares, timber houses and cobbled streets. The 15th Century clock tower and abbey towers impose on the skyline and the colourful twice-weekly market selling superb regional produce is an assault on your senses. Enjoy a fresh coffee at one of the pavement cafés and soak up the atmosphere.

You will find abundance of restaurants and bars catering for all tastes. Swim indoors at the Atlanty’s aqua centre with 50m amazing waterslide. There are more water sports to be had at the lake by paddling a canoe or kayak. For the less energetic, a round of crazy golf might prove a better alternative. For children with a need for speed, Go Karting offers fast track fun. Afternoons 3– 8pm.

Petit Champagne is conveniently located five minutes from junction 34 of the A10 north/south motorway. It is in the countryside so a car is a very good idea. The nearest airport is La Rochelle about 45 minutes drive with flights to Bristol, London and Southampton. Bordeaux airport is about 1hour 20 minutes with more destinations. We can arrange car hire and airport pick-ups if you need it.
